Wy-Bondurant

Has anyone ever backpacked over the mountain range West of Bondurant about 8 miles?
It runs N/S and has some pretty nasty peaks. I was thinking of hiking it for Mule Deer, from Clause Peak to Ramshorn peak. It looks pretty rough, so I don't want to be wasting a week of hunting if there aren't any deer up there. Thanks for any input.

Spent 7 months in that area building a pipeline. Used to sit on the highway and glass some giants at the tops of the avalanche shouts. You will be in deer. Rugged country, but very rewarding if you spend the time to get back into it.

Love that area. Look for saddles at the top and pressure on opening day can push deer your way

Beautiful country and there are deer. Plenty of hunters in there as well.

Is that the snake river range? I've only been back there fishing, but always thought about hunting the area. With that kind of terrain I've got to believe there are some good bucks.
