Just finished up a successful hunt with zero points in a 100% draw unit. Two days of scouting paid off by eliminating several tracts and allowing us to focus on the 4-5 that consistently had good numbers on or nearby them.
I wouldn't dream of coming out here without 4x4, but if it stayed dry and you stuck to maintained roads, you'd be fine.
