As some of you know on here, I took an early retirement a few years ago. I have been hunting, shooting, fishing, hiking, camping and just about everything else I wanted to do. A couple of months ago I was asked to help out on a road construction project for a few weeks.
Here are a couple of pictures of some of the equipment involved. Big boy and girl toys.
2 years ago this road had only 1700 vehicles a day. Since there is a oil boom nearby it has gone to about 5500 per day. Not very fun and I'm sure it isnt any fun for the public that has to drive through.
Anyway next time you drive around some road construction just think some of us workers enjoy hunting.
