How are the deer faring in your neck of the woods?

Gunnison basin is rumored to be experiencing some.

Interested in hearing from Southern Idaho and other areas.

so far they seem to be doing good up here in NW Montana, lots of road-kill unfortunately, but the ones I am seeing running around look in good condition so far. Only time will tell...

I would be interested in how southern Wyoming is doing. Rawlins, Baggs, Saratoga area. Anyone been over that way lately?

There are I think nearly 30 or so supplemental feeding stations in South/Southeast Idaho. A lot of seasons are being set to accommodate for a large winter kill. I know that F&G is looking at dropping a lot of the youth doe hunts to help rebound the population after this winter

That's what I feared....rough year for the Snake River drainage herds.

They have had quite a bit of snow in Rawlins, but I don't think that it has been deadly. South toward Colorado it has been pretty deep and north has been. The mountains around Saratoga have received a lot, but I don't know how bad it is for mortality.

I live in Southern Idaho
Been out the past couple weeks
Have already found a lot of kills
Adult and fawns both
Just got hit with another snow storm yesterday
Big winner kill coming
