Had a good hunt this morning with my son and his hunting partner. We got to the launch and we were the 10th truck 4 hours before shooting light. I had scouted this marsh 4 times in the last 2 weeks and did not see a single person those mornings. My 3rd choice in spots was open and we had a fun morning.Getting dry though if we don't get some rain the area we hunted might be dry by the regular duck opener.

I was shocked, I expected to be the first or maybe 2nd vehicle there. It is a pretty good sized area though with room to get out of the way of other people. I decided to sleep in this morning and take the dog to a dove field instead. My son did the 1:30am wakeup today, interested to hear how many rigs today since it is a Saturday.
