A pards uncle has 2 whitetail NIB for sale. I know they don't make em anymore, but for the price I think I'm gonna try one. Anybody ever run one? Thoughts?

Yep - if it is a weatherby rifle with pencil thin barrel get the barrel bore scoped. Great little caliber but barrel life is short.

PS: you don't want to know what weatherby gets for a rebarrel job.
