WHEN WILL IT END???????? I'll be so glad for 11/04

when the election cycle ends it almost feels like the end of winter and im happy it’s over but in the back of my head I also think, crap it’s gonna start all over again in 6-7 months.

Does that mean you will be putting this thread to rest today and for the next 6-7 months.

Maybe next time the Republicans can get an even richer/creepy boomer to run in GA for Governor.
That should help win over the younger generation (who cant even afford to buy a starter house).

Republican Boomers lost this election for their party and rightfully so. They 100% have themselves to blame for this MASSIVE loss.
Republican boomers need to adapt to the changing times or die. They died in a major way yesterday.

>$6.00+ for diesel
>"War" with strangers in places that 98% of people cant even point to on a map.
>The continued Inflation of goods approaching 50%
>Attacks on public lands

Its really no big surprise to me.

Not that it really matters because its all smoke and mirrors and we are all just puppets getting long dong'd by both puppetmaster parties....

Blue wave here in Iowa. Let’s all wish on the next shooting star that our elected officials see this as a sign that most people do not want to all the way to left or all the way to the right but work together to achieve the most good, like our founding fathers intended.

But, you know the old saying. Wish in one hand and shit in the other and let me know which one fills up first.

I think you got a very good governor last night. Definitely a leg up.

I’m gonna put it to rest in my head at least, but give it until the end of the day and it might could get put to rest by the forum administration. There are gonna be some victory lappers and sore losers for sure. I’ll be putting my pronouns back in my bios if anyone needs me.

I agree with that. I’ve met Rob several times and he’s always impressed me with his ability to speak to everyone and his work as state auditor has shown he doesn’t care if you are left, right, red or blue if you are corrupt he will go after you. But in all honesty the pictures of him pheasant hunting with a Remington 870 did it for me. Us 870 guys gotta stick together. And, does your Governor even have a 209” deer on the wall in the state capital that he shot himself?

But like all politicians, he will get a term to put his money where his mouth is.

I do not know what our new governor has shot. If she only has an 870, I might donate a double barrel to her. But what I do know is that her father, Jim, was the outdoors writer for the Star Tribune, when I was a kid and the only column I read in the paper as a youngster because it was all about hunting, fishing, and the outdoors in general.

I always thought it was cool in Minnesota how they have the governors opening day fishing event and opening day pheasant hunt. And it’s not just a photoshoot.
