What won't you hunt?

High school age and shortly after there were a few stragglers to be found. Never thought twice about shooting them. After the near heart attack when the covey broke, of course! Let's call it over 40 years now.
Consistently found a couple coveys outside Macomb for several years in a row about 6 years ago. I let them be.

Rattlesnakes drunk or naked.

Mule deer are probably my favorite animal to hunt but I’ll never shoot a muley doe. I don’t have any issues shooting whitetail does for some extra meat, and I’ve shot a few.

I’m not interested in Africa at all.

On the top of my list for things I want but haven’t taken yet is a bighorn ram, a Montana moose, a good lion, and a bison. I’ll probably never be able to take a grizzly, and that’s okay, but I would really love a nice boar grizzly.
I just gotta ask why wouldn't you shoot a muley doe?

Lots of reasons. Mainly I don’t think we should be killing muley does because I want more mule deer on the landscape, not less. Also it’s about as challenging as shooting a prairie dog.

I think I am pretty open minded, paired with education, as to what I would and wouldn't hunt. Right now it's prairie dogs for us as they have left numerous holes on our property

I once thought zebra but then recalled owning horses. A 181HH@3100 will work fine!

African game only because zero interest in flight time. Plus Sasquatch size so business or first class only option.

Bears, look human skinned and just can't get that image out of my mind. Tried eating, 🤮.

Regular NA game prob nothing I wouldn't hunt but lots no desire to. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Turkeys. They’re my father’s favorite species to hunt, but I just can’t get into it. He’s a NWTF life member, great caller, always fills his tags. But they just don’t move the needle for me. I hunted them for a couple days during Covid because we were building our cabin, and I just happened to be there, nothing else to do, etc. Haven’t hunted them since and likely won’t again, barring some strange confluence of events.
