Alright, figured I'd go to the group. I'll start by saying I don't really "need" any of these LOL. I hunt primarily with my wife and son, and spend more and more time getting them on animals than I do myself. I currently have a 6.5 PRC (Browning x-bolt), 300 PRC (Christensen Ridgeline FFT) and a 6mm Creed (Ruger). My son shoots the 6.5 just fine and has shot the 300 suppressed with no issues. We live in KY so mainly Turkey and Deer for us around here. Got a .410 Mossberg with a red dot last year for Turkey. I have a sandhill crane hunt coming up in Jan in TX and no gun for that but could likely borrow one as I don't really waterfowl hunt. We have gone to Africa the past two years and might go next year (won't be hunting buffalo though).

3.5 chamber is a waste and I'll leave the crossbow alone....for now.
Word. Only reason for me to have a 3.5" gun was if you need to share ammo with buddies and they are shooting 3.5". But when I did a ton of waterfowling and hunted with others that did a ton of waterfowling, nobody used 3.5" anyway. I think i've only ever shot 1 box of 3.5" shells i purchased. Only other 3.5" ammo used was free from sponsored friends.

If buying now, i'd save $ and get a 3" gun that'll probably cycle the light clay/game loads better anyway.

On the tikka front - i get wanting something different but you can get a factory 6 creed tikka that'll probably shoot great so I'd be hard pressed to justify an aftermarket 22 or 25 creed barrel unless the factory 6 cm barrel is toast or doesn't shoot well.
