What Kind Of Grouse Is This

I have been hunting for grouse most of the day. I saw a few Blues, but they flew before I could get a shot with the old Burgess 12 gauge. While I was on a ridge looking for more Blue Grouse, I found this dandy, what is it?

Since I killed that turkey, I have been seeing more grouse…

Guys up here on the river don’t want turkeys. Say they are too hard on pheasant populations.
