I have really become interested in buying my first bow. I was wondering what you folks would consider a good bow for a beginner. I can only spend about $250 max so I know I won't be getting anything fantastic. So if you folks could help steer me in the right direction I would appreciate it, thanks!!

Find you draw length and then look at some of the ones on the board.
Elkhunter has 1
Danr has 1
I have 3 for sale, only after the above 2 are sold....

TK, the first thing you need to know is your DRAW LENGHT--and what you can pull in weight.
Dont buy annything untill you know.
If it wont fit YOU and fell good it isnt a good deal no matter how cheap you can buy it for.
Go to some archery PRO shops and have them show you everything they have that will fit you.
Keep a list of the ones you like that will work for you.
Then you can start looking for a used one.
Get as much info as you can ,and if you have more then one archery shop go to all of them.
Im sure you will find something that will fit and you can afford.
I have seen some good deals on some newer bows.
They all feel different in your hand and a bow needs to be set up for the one that is shooting it.
You need to decide if you will be shooting with fingers or using a release!
There are alot of things to decide before you go buy one ,doing the homework first will save you some money in the long run .
