What are "Graemlins"?

The name graemlins was spawned by a few nerds(al gore included) sipping wine watching pornos and smoking angle dust, after the pornoes were dont they watched the movie Greamlins and someone made a happy face.

Good show, Moosie! I was about to say that it appeared to be an archaic Anglification of a fairly modern term, but you said it much more eloquently. :D I guess it does sound a bit more spicy than calling them emoticons.
