What 100 year old cartridges do you use

The bald eagles came back because we banned DDT.

I can think of few ways for a wild animal to die, that is worse than slowly being poisoned by lead.

It happens to all critters that scavenge on lead fragment filled gutpiles.

Many of your remarks I will file under "What-aboutism", Nikita Krueschev invented it. When asked about some insult to humanity thy were doing he would answer back with "what about this and what about that"

Is just a way of avoiding personal responsibility.

The heavy metal industries have committed and continue to commit some of the most atrocious environment crimes against nature and people, usually poor people.

When hunters choose to turn their backs on this obvious big picture and participate with their own version of spreading a toxic metal around, and even feeding it to their families, they have become part of that

We owe our wild lands and wildlife so much more.
So you say. You calling it obvious doesn't make it true or obvious any more than Anthony Fauci calling some thing "science".

I was never so happy to stop using a bullet in my life as I was with Paritions.
I mean using a bullet that was designed to fall apart, losing 15% to 35% on impact.

This was the last lead core bullet I used before going to Barnes all copper.

I shot a big tough wild boar with it and it fell to pieces,

Reminded me of a song by Patsy Cline, "I fall to Pieces".

Barnes bullets required a learning curve, no question about, and they did spend a lot of R & D time working out the bugs, but when they did, "WOW" using their bullets was like having Bruce Lee coming out of your barrel, a lean mean fighting machine.

Partitions came to represent the no longer of value past, old, slow overweight, and falling apart.

Merging high tech Barnes bullets in old rifles was such an efficient step up for old calibers. It put the testosterone back in them.

Partitions belong in a rocking chair, still needing a blanket on them even in front of the fire. Old, cold, not bold.
Partitions are a great bullet. You lose a tiny bit of weight and they always exit leaving a nice blood trail. Everybody I’ve known who shot Barnes other than the lrx talks about how tough 100# does are and always has a rodeo story on recovery with multiple wholes in the deer. I’ve shot one deer with a copper and never again. Partitions close and eldx for longer shots and non magnums close.
