Should be arriving in Denver on the 8th or 9th for a couple of weeks, anyone need a camp cook on your archery hunt? If not I'll just try to fool some browns into the cooler.

Could do that. We'll be heading down through OK to visit friends in the Cherokee Nation and then up through Joplin, MO to visit a correspondent from another forum. Rocky Ford wouldn't be much out of the way.

You'll be in my neck of the woods. I'll be in Southern CO Sept. 19-27. Then back home to Eastern OK.

Do you know an approximate timeframe? I'll be in WY the 20th thru the 28th of Sep and elk hunting here the first week of Sep.

The wife has a doctor's appointment here on the 19th unless she changes it, so we'll most likely be making stops in OKC, Grove and Joplin on the 16th and 17th. The OKC stop is a maybe at this point. If she reschedules then those dates will shift two or three days later.

Would have liked to have gotten up with you on the elk trip John, but can't get away any sooner. We'll be leaving DEN on the 16-19th time frame. At least maybe we can treat you and the girlfriend to lunch at that Mexican restaurant there in Rocky Ford.

In that case I'll bring you some nice apples from up in the Smokies and maybe some sourwood honey if they're harvesting it yet. What kind of apples; Gala, Yellow Delicious, Rome, Fuji???
