western nebraska fire recovery

Does anybody know how well the grass has come back after the fires in western nebraska? I know its early and rain has not been abundant so far. I plan on returning back there this fall for deer and was just curious what you all thought as far as will the deer have returned? I hunted there two years ago and had a great hunt. Thanks for any info!

Following closely as I see many man fired burns green up quick but it was pretty dry. Hope for some gentle rains that continue periodically.
