Were Suppressors Ever Illegal For Hunting In Idaho

I was having a discussion with a friend the other day and he was unaware that suppressors were legal for big game hunting in Idaho. I know they've been legal for at least the five years that I've lived and hunted here, but it got me wondering. Were they ever illegal for hunting here? If so, when did that change?

Never illegal to my knowledge. Idaho is a very gun friendly state.
