Well this sucks

The Big Hole isn't shrouded in clouds on yesterday's imagery. The Snowline is well above the valley which itself is over 6,000 and looks to be up around 8,000.
 
JR, another resource you may want to hit up are the Montana Department of Transportation highway cameras. They have them all over the state, and they update every 2 or 3 hours. The Big Hole Pass Camera, which is located at 7400 feet above sea level at the southern end of the Big Hole, shows no snow as of 1:30 this afternoon. Here's the link to the list.

Yep, hit that site up when I was up there 2 weeks ago. Now that I am trying to find another place to hunt im hoping to limit my outside factors such as snow and access (crappy roads and or shutdown issues). Pretty much sucks trying to cram all this research into a couple of weeks....I guess that's what I get for not having a plan B in the first place.
