To those of you who are coming to the west to hunt this last weekend of bow season in central/eastern Idaho. You better come prepared for some early winter weather. I'd rather error on the side of caution and be over prepared than the other way around.
Sounds like Montana will get hit harder than Idaho. Expecting snow from 6,000 up from 8-18" of snow, wind and cold temps. Snow elevations lowering by Sunday down to 4,000ft. Be prepared to sit is camp until the roads get good enough to drive out. Don't panic and leave tearing up the roads and your vehicles.
