Buck from 2017 and doe from this year. Both taken from a homemade blind on a waterhole on our family ranch. It is a pit that I dug with a farm tractor and scraper when I was in high school about 48 years ago.

I taught myself to shoot from my non dominate side couple winters back. Buck is my first ever right hand kill; doe the second. Used a dual shelf Grizzly and a Kodiak Special. Both are 1956 models; same as me.

Thanks for kind words and warm welcome. Gerald Martin brought me here with his father daughter elk hunt last year. Let’s just say I’m familiar with the area in the post lol. Cool site, fun to follow others adventures.
