War of the Worlds (2005)

This was a pretty good movie. It was a little bit like Independance Day at first, but other than that it was a scary movie with some really dark scenes. Not one that I would take kids to though.

I liked it also i think. they little girl did some good acting. it had a lot of twists to it thats cool.

I thought it was pretty good & I can't stand Tom Cruise. But he didn't overact too much in this one. The little girl is a darn good actress....stole the show.

Dakota Fanning has been excellent in every movie I've seen her in...the only other one I can remember is "Man on Fire," but there was another one too. She seems to have honest talent beyond the "Home Alone sweet cheeks" that most kids lose after they grow up a little. But we'll see!

I liked it, but sometimes it needed more suspense. I think they should have let Tim Robbins blast the crap out the aliens when they were in the basement.
