That is the one thing that I noticed BIG TIME this year is that the area i was in was green and it is NEVER green.

Congrats on the goat! Sure is a shame what the free for all of private land tags on some of those ranches have done to the quality and number of that part of the state

Yes it is! There's some ranchers that sure will sell every tag they can and it's sad. Most in our area havnt done that but a few have and you can tell it driving thru their place and on the neighboring ranches

Good to hear. Talked to a guy who lives in the deer unit I'll be hunting in SW NM this year the other day. He said it's really dry down there this year.
