I have a question regarding US Forestry Lands, or other public lands such as BLM that are used for grazing. If the there is fencing up to restrict the cattle, there is no issue hopping it if it is on public, correct? Of course, be respectful, do not damage, etc. Thanks Pete

Grazing fences are for cattle, not you. Of course, always know for sure you are on public land. There are many NGO's that go out and take down old fences like that no longer in use and interrupting animal movements.

Like others have said, the fences are to separate different grazing leases, you are good to go to cross.

Common courtesy is if crossing a gate leave the gate in the state you found it. If closed, close it behind you; if open, leave it open behind you.
