Update On Orca Lover

Well it looks like we have an appointment with ENT tomarrow at 2:00..I talked to our Dr's office this morning, and they TOLD me to call ENT NOW and get the appointment AS SOON AS POSSIBLE,,like before the weeks out..So its to ENT tomarrow..

Its amazing to see the responce when you tell them that its hard for her to swallow, the tonsil has taken over half of her throat, it feels like shes choking, and her pain pills are doing on good..fast action hump

Good luck, I just has my tonsils, and adenoids out in Nov. Wasn't very fun for about 2 weeks, but since then things have been great. I also had my nose straightened up, because I couldn't breath through it.

Goodness Sugar, hope you get past that soon. I can barely remember the whole tonsil thing. It was about a million years ago for me. I do remember it sucking though. I feel for you girl.

Yeah, my pain killers dont do anything but make me sleep, and when I am sleeping it feels like I am choking. I want them out like last week, but we will have to see what the ENT says tomorrow. If tehy tell me that they have to come out, I will tell them that it is being done asap if not sooner, I WILL NOT miss my senior ball (May 21) over this crap!! But hey, I was able to open my mouth enough to brush my teeth today!!! At least that is a good thing!! And since I cant get a spoon in my mouth without pain, I am having yogurt smoothies!! We will let ya know how things go at the ENT tomorrow.

You may have to have your dad cut a piece of garden hose to put down your throat just before you go out to your senior ball... I hope not, actually just kidding, you should be fairly good to go with in the next couple weeks...

Well, we went to the ENT today. That guy has some really long needles!!! And if a doctor ever tells you that the numbing spray is going to taste like banana-- HE IS LYING!!! It tasted more like WD-40 at first and then it burned! And then, he gave me a shot to numb my tonsil, and that hurt like all holy hell! but i didnt feel the needle that he used to look for an absest pocket thing. But they were both huge!! I have another antibiotic to take and he said if it gets worse this weekend, he is the "on call" doctor.

I wonder if that is the same size needle they shove down your nose when you break it to put pain killers in?
