UNWIRED Great Project

Yes indeed, the need for making fences more wildlife friendly and the importance of pronghorn being able to move across the landscape is pretty damn apparent. We need a few overpasses on I-80, better fencing, etc.

I'm hopeful that Brocks new group will help make improvements, would be huge step forward for pronghorn.

A great video and awesome work by WMI! It's timely and highlights why it's important to support the Sublette Pronghorn Migration Corridor Designation in Wyoming.

NAPF submitted supporting comments on it this week. I would encourage more folks to do the same. Deadline to comment is May 2!

Who owns that 94,000 acre section that is surrounded by woven wire fence?

Pretty amazing to see the GPS just completely skip those sections with woven wire fence.

That was some amazing collar data.
That collar data is the best thing that ever happened for wildlife in Wyoming. Finally, Montana seems to be getting the hint. The ability for animals to move across the landscape is so important for their yearly needs as well as their long-term survival. There have always been biologists, wardens, and even some of the hunting public that "knew" about migration, but this is another whole level.

The work the WMI has done is spectacular, I'm a huge fan of their work along with the GF on the importance of corridors.
