I’m in the market for a suppressor for my new Seekins PH3 6.5 PRC. The two front runners are the U.S OG Six-Five, and the Dead Air Nomad Ti XC. I’ve already read lots of good reviews about the Nomad, but is there anyone out there with experience with the U.S. OG? I like the design concept a lot, but am curious to hear real-world impressions on sound suppression and recoil reduction. Thanks guys.

Seen some new stuff out there on the Airlock suppressors which seems pretty good. They don't have a .30 caliber version out yet but their 6.5 and 7 versions are getting rave reviews for size and weight and stacking up as good as some of the larger ones that are as much as 2" longer than them.

I can see how you end up with several suppressors pretty quickly. I don't even have my Dead Air Nomad XC LTi in my grubby little hands yet and already thinking about my next one (or 2).

I’m not someone who’s in the position to rack up a collection of suppressors—this will likely be my one and only for quite some time. Hence the analysis paralysis. I’ll check out those Airlocks though. Thanks.
Hoping that the tax stamp fee going to $0 and the wait times dropping down will start driving prices down and quality options up. Seems to already be heading that way with several new companies getting into it both long time firearms manufacturers that are now starting to make suppressors and new companies starting up. Sure seems like they should be able to make a 6" can for cheaper than they can make a decent rifle.

I own the nomad ti and am completely happy with it. That said I would likely try either the Og or the airlock if I get to purchase another. The forum of sliding rocks it a little bias towards anything from Unknown munitions but I would look at the reviews there. My knowledge of Airlock has all been word of mouth. But it's all been positive.
Sorry it needs a decoder I don't want to get 86ed.

The U.S. OG threads on RS are like 90 pages long and 98% of the posts you have to wade through to get to actual substantive data are like either guys who are tweaking their nipples fawning over U.S. or like dudes trying to show how smart and edgy they are by going against the RS grain by calling into question anything that U.S. does. Reading it makes me want to punch myself in the dick.

I really want one, literally. My hearing sucks, and I need to protect it. I also enjoy the reduced recoil. I don’t collect lots of rifles. I like having something I know well, and “fits like a glove.” The closest thing I have for two rifles in one niche are my 17 hmr and 22 lr. Which of all these suppressors would be best for one size fits all? It may be used on a 22-250 to a 300 wm.

Oh so you have seen them already? 😉

There are a couple of reports in that thread about people getting thread adapters stuck in the OG. That shouldn’t be an issue for you since your Seekins is threaded 5/8” anyway. But, if you also have something threaded smaller, it might be something to consider.

Honestly you can just get a 30cal titanium that is around 6 or 7 inches long. The nomad ti or ultra 7 would be the most proven but the ones discussed above are strong contender while being shorter.
My 30cal works great on my 22 250.
