Unit 66 Colorado 3rd Rifle

3 of us are heading out for 3rd rifle season here pretty soon. We are staying near Powderhorn, the plan is to start there and then head south if we don't have much luck. If anyone has any pointers on this unit or what to expect I'd appreciate it. I have hunted elk before but never this late in the year and never in this unit.

Hey how did unit 66 3rd rifle turn out? were the elk still on accessible public land?
