Has anybody hunted this unit before. We are looking at it and have been looking in the Mahoney Butte area also further up the North east corner around the Norton peaks areas. Is it possible to camp from truck and pack in and get away from the crowds and perhaps set a spike camp. what are the deer herds in the area like. we will have a week to scout before the season but trying to narrow the area down a bit so we can concentrate more on one area. Any help would be appreciated.
