There are things I like about Platner, and some I am not thrilled about. He has obviously struck a chord with Maine voters. They have a choice to make in November.

imo, the "anti semitic" sentiment you cite, is far less anti jewish people, and nearly all anti Israeli government sentiment. It is striking how Israel burned thru so much good will after the terrorist attacks, nearing three years ago. It does not help when many see our actions in Iran as doing Netanyahu's bidding.

You don't think Biden's disastrous withdrawal in Afghanistan had anything to do with Russia's invasion in Ukraine and lower enthusiasm in our military during his term? A fresh new approach to recruitment, played a big part in the increased numbers of recruits. I think your CNN goggles are clouding your vision a little.

Heres what I know:

The Afghan withdrawal was a major goal of Trump, completely set up AND started in his first administration with the Doha agreement with the Taliban. It didnt go well at the end but placing all blame on Biden is revising historical facts.

Furthermore, we left behind Afghan allies now under threat due to their assistance of US troops and interests.

As widely reported recently, Trump with help from the SCUS gutted the ability of persecuted immugrants to declare asylum and enter our country.

Less reported is what Trump wants to with our afghan allies. Ship them to the Congo...or return them back to Taliban controlled afghanistan!

This is a prime example of why the service members I know express concerns with the Trump admins actions.
