Danies appears to have put himself between a rock and a hard place here. The mental gymnastics needed for a few of these Rs to justify the votes will be entertaining. Daines is up for reelection in 2026. Anybody giving odds on him being voted out if it passes with 2m acres?

This below is important and should be highlighted to your Congressional reps. You want to sell 30 acres of NV BLM for low-income multi-family apartments, go for it. I could live with it under SNPLMA rules. I'm sure the views from the balcony overlooking the Vegas strip at night will be amazing.

Cortez Masto noted that under the SNPLMA model, revenue from the sale of federal lands is returned to the BLM for revinvestment in other public lands. She scolded Burgum for supporting the House budget provision that included land disposals in Nevada that didn’t follow the SNPLMA model.
