Turkey season getting close

I have an early March birthday so one of these years I'm going to go down and chase Osceolas in the swamps as a gift to myself. Good luck this year. We've been getting some warm stretches so I'm definitely getting ready for the season to start.

I can't wait.

First weekend in April me and my son drew a quota hunt on a fairly local WMA. Have wanted to hunt it for 30 years.

Did not draw a quota hunt in Arkansas this season. Put in for the same WMA as last year up there. Drew it last year with what turned out to be a 6% chance. Was hoping lightning would strike twice. Going to hunt a non-quota WMA for turkey that is bow only for deer to make up for it. If we don't find turkeys at least we will get some deer scouting done. That one is the 3rd week of April.

Looking doubtful for Montana this year due to both of our work schedules.

Still pissed I have to work for a living and can't just hunt. Total BS.
