After the Maple calls are removed from the stabilizer solution there sanded and then receive a buffing with 110% Beeswax.
The wood is Maple burl, with spalting, curl and birdseye.

Jarrod said the the Beeswax polishes , it does that too. The main purpose of the beeswax is to seal the wood after the stabilizing and by using 220 grit after the stabilizing it heats the wood and enough to apply the hard beeswax and using my hand the heat helps it to penetrate any porous areas left. Making the wood water proof.
