Trouble posting pics

I am having trouble posting pictures. In order to upload the pics, it makes me resize them so small they are not worth veiwing . I have to resize them to 400x300 in order to get them to upload. I've uploaded lots of pictures before (usually resizing 50% smaller than original.) and never had a problem. Any ideas?

If your pictures are off your phone I used a app called "image size" to resize my phone pictures for here, worked good for me.
