Anyone out there tried the 3-9x40 version of the Trijicon Credo? Looks like an almost ideal scope for most of the hunting I do, and I really like the simpler Mil square reticle compared to their other options. Hopefully it’s as durable as the other credos, I might need to try one on my .308 and see.

1 inch tube or 30 mm?

It’s a 1” and fairly light. Looking at the Rokslide eval it did pretty well for a lightweight scope.

I do too much elk and whitetail hunting in the timber for a complex reticle or FFP, but still want the durability and could still use it to dial range if needed for a longer shot. Not looking for a dedicated long range scope at all, just a good solid 0-450 scope.

Have one and the only thing that I don't like is the throw know is not removable and interferes with a 90 degree bolt throw on a low mounted scope when on 9 power. Had to grind it down so the Rem 700 bolt would clear. Still have to watch your fingers a tad.

It’s going on a Tikka so it should be fine with low rings I think. Might get one for the .223 too, or at least start out with it on there and shoot it all summer.

Eurooptics has been the best price I’ve found on them.

I ordered one. I’ll use and abuse it this summer on the .223 and might pick another up for my .308 depending on how I like it.
