Keep pondering a new gun caliber but I just cant give up on my 270WSM. Here is my Tikka I just got done. One pic is my 270WSm with .243 both Tikka T3. Made it look a little less boring. West Coast Hydrographics in Oregon did the dipping.

Wonder how durable it is? I hunt my guns hard. mtmuley
Its my first. The guy does this process on car rims and parts and all kinds of items. I tried to scratch it on the inside of stock and it seems to be good. Time will tell. I tried to find a new stock but they are all heavier and more expensice than doing it this way.

How is the texture? Does it have some grit to it or is it slick plastic?
