Funny this post came up. Just today I was driving down the road and a bit ahead of me some reddish colored cocker spaniel crossed the road as I got along side of it as it stood in the ditch here was the biggest red fox I ever saw standing there, with NO TAIL!!

Mange maybe?

Dont give up on using the cages as there are some trappers in Arizona that make pretty good
catches using cages.I have some experience with them but not alot as we are using standards traps
here in NC.Been trapping since high school and really enjoy.Try it,you have some good fur there.

The regulations state "live traps-limited to cage, box or Snead design colony traps." I'm going to look into these trap to see if it's a viable option.

Get some cages and go after the cats. That's the big money anyway and cats will go into cages pretty easy
