A landmark change for nearly 30 million Americans

Hearing aids will become available to Americans without a prescription later this fall, under a long-awaited rule finalized Tuesday.

So when are they going to stop making it so hard for us hunters and target shooters to buy something that will help protect our hearing? I dropped the ball again and didn't do the paperwork to get one for this fall in time. And it looks like the Form1 fast approval for those who have machining capabilities has been halted. I was going to go that route to have one for this fall but it seems the BATF, even though they still get the 200.00 has a problem with it these days.

Highly unlikely, hunters, even adding rec shooters make up a tiny fraction of the US population. Too much misinformation about them, including the use of the word “silencer” and the false representation of suppressors in Hollywood.

Many other countries encourage, or even require suppressing whilst hunting, even countries considered anti-gun by US standards.
