I'll just say This about That.
When it comes to Technology, Military Operations, Banking & Finance, Field Personnel, it only takes One person to be in the right position, that feels they alone know better & more than Anybody else (and DOES NOT), to sink a battleship, wipe out a Platoon, waste $10,000 for a $49.99 piece of crap (for no damn reason) after being told I Need This.....and they send something else, cuz THEY KNOW THEY KNOW BETTER !
14 hrs today, on a job that should have been no more than 5 hrs. 12 people taken away from what they should have been doing to get just 1 of 100 jobs done. And the true problem is still not resolved.
Tomorrow does not look promising, but there is an extraction plan in place, Plan "OH HELL, NEVER AGAIN ! ", and I'll probably wind up missing my flight back to Raleigh, if we execute it.
For $49.99............
That's like sending a drop of 7.62's into a platoon, under hostile fire, packing M16's & SAW's !!!
