I was surfing Al Gores Internet this morning and saw a ad for this. It is the MacGyver / Swiss Army Knife of the Ebike world.

I was pretty naive to think that they were too expensive and not may folks would be using them. The prices have dropped and now and it will fit in your zipped up Honda hatchback.

@BuzzH I owe you a apology, there was definitely a reason to be concerned.

Which model of theirs do you think is trail worthy? All I see are city bikes marketed towards commuters.

Yep, these are not the rough tough bikes that the other thread was talking about. What struck me was the cost, size, configuration, and versatility. They may be meant for the city but some of the frame options could easily haul your camp down a closed road. This one will carry 350lbs.

Closed road maybe, but trailhead (what the thread title stated), no. It would be funny watching someone try to stop one of those things fully loaded while headed down a steep FS road with their $15 brakes.

People earn Darwin awards all the time, common sense isn’t very common anymore.

The RadWagon looks pretty useful.

I could get some elk quarters out on that sucker!!

Hopefully anyone that contemplates packing out an elk with a bike straps a 40lb bag on for a test ride first. Most people would be surprised how miserable it is having that much weight on a bike.
