This was a good afternoon. Started slow, but then we hit the mother lode and from then on, birds were pretty darn abundant, albeit a decidedly female biased population. Nonetheless, we came home with our limit.
This pic is the newest in a growing collection of Gus's Hero shots on stumps... Some people collect photos of lighthouses, some of rock arches. Me, I collect golden-retriever-on-a-stump photos.. He thinks it's ridiculous. But what the heck, the view is good up there, and he doesn't often get to see above the grass.
