My Archery Elk season ended September 30. Of course I got into elk while grouse hunting today.

I saw two birds and they flushed wild 50 yards out.

I went back to the same spot again today for Grouse. Had the wind in my face and came on a bull and cow 60 yards up the road.
The cow eventually saw something she didn't like and started walking toward me to figure it out. I am wearing khaki pants and a white checked button down.
I finally spoke to her and they bugged out.

No Grouse. No big deal. I love seeing elk.
