I'm not aware of Twitter specifically saying, "These are the tweets we are banning you for posting."

I'm sure one could find lots of factual stuff that Berenson said, and lots of incorrect things that are still incorrect. I'm not inclined to participate in the logical fallacy that because he made one tweet that was factual all of his were, or vice versa. I'm sure he was prolific and I'm sure we could cherry pick examples until the cows come home. Hence my question for specifics.

His case settlement had nothing to do with the veracity or lack thereof of his posts but on the way twitter communicated and administered their policies.

I especially like the line “Hours after Mr. Biden’s comment, Twitter locked Mr. Berenson’s account. The next month Twitter permanently banned Mr. Berenson after he tweeted that mRNA vaccines don’t “stop infection. Or transmission.”

In all reality who cares if it was one post, point is our government is censoring speech…at the fking direction of the loser in the White House. Nothing else really matters, unless you’re cool with that and it sounds like many in here are.

If that's the Berenson quote, no that has not been proven to be true, though his language is imprecise. mRNA vaccines do greatly reduce transmission, they do stop some infection. He doesn't seem by this quote to understand vaccine efficacy. It's not accurate to think of a vaccine as a therapeutic with a limited shelf life. mRNA vaccines don't help after you have Covid which would be the definition of a therapeutic.

His tweet is inaccurate, was at the time, still is.

Now should he have been banned from twitter. No, I don't think anyone should. I don't think that's the best way to deal with misinformation. I also don't think anyone should get medical advice from social media.

Berenson did not have his twitter reinstated because this statement was found false.

Reducing transmission and preventing transmission are 2 very different things.

His statement is true though. Rachel Maddow in front of the whole world proclaimed on her show, “the vaccine prevents you from getting Covid”….exact quote. That’s misinformation.

You seem to gloss over the fact that our govt tattled to a social media company to ban him.

People used to have these discussions I can remember the old guys going at it when I was a kid. At the end of the day they all liked eachother. Things have certainly changed, not for the better.
