Definitely avoid THC for dogs since it can be toxic to them even in small amounts. That said, CBD can be really helpful for pain and anxiety. I’ve had great results with CBD pet products from Joy Organics for my senior lab. It helps ease joint pain without any side effects

My wife's dog literally loves smoke blown in her face. Damn dog will run to the smell and beg for it. Not my cup of tea but couldn't believe it when I saw it. Cant be that toxic, shes 13.5 years old now. We have her on the CBD's with a very low amount of THC. In humans, CBD is only activated with THC so it has to have some to work, not sure about dogs. Have definitely seen an improvement with her hips but its a high dose. I use an ointment for nerve pain in my back and it works instantly, but lasts maybe an hour. In short yes it works, just depends on the animal and product being used.
