Great birds! I notice you don't use a camoflaged gun or even one with a dull finish. Has that ever been a problem for you?

My turkey gun has a dull finish. A couple years ago when I went to MO to visit a friend and hunt with him there I used one of his spare guns with a shiny finish because I didn't feel like flying with my gun. I'm sure one gobbler that got away picked up on the shiny finish.

Kraven, the birds were jest average 2 yr olds, nothing big,one was 9" with 7/8"spurs and the other 9 1/2" with 1" spurs.I wanted to get some breast meat to make jerky with.

Ithaca37,the gun is an older Beretta 682 it does have a silver frame but the wood and barrels have a matte finish. Over the years I have done well with it. I think the most important thing is movement, camoflage will help with that but I have been busted a few times when an ol tom sneaks up behind me and catches me off guard, all the camo in the world wont help in that situation when there is movement that shouldnt be.
