We missed the aspen color peek but since I've never seen them in fall colors I was blown away how pretty. Like a stained glass window.

The valley we hunt in near Montrose. The cliff I'm on drops 150 yards.

The second place I got to hunt. I found elk beds WAAAAAY up on top of the hill. 12,000 feet way up. Little patches of juniper clustered together would provide the perfect cover to get out of the wind for the animals and they could see you coming for miles.

Where I camped. Taken the day before because the day and night I slept there it snowed. Next time I go I'll acclimate better to the altitude and train a lot more. I Will Be Back!!! Love it...
