Was in bucks everyday. Finally put the sneaky sneaky on the big 4x4. Missed at 30 yards. I've argued with the ARC range finders until this year. I was on top of some rim rocks. My old time range finder said 30 yards. The plan worked out perfect except for the shot! The buck stood up and walked along the rim rock. I whistled he stopped and my arrow went over his back. I went down to pick up my arrow and stood where the bucks was at and my buddy ranged my with his ARC. It was 30 yards but due to the -52 degree angle it was a 16 yard shot. Needless to say I made a trip to Twin Falls the next day and invested in an ARC range finder. Sometimes it doesn't pay to be so hard headed. At least that's what the wife told the guy behind the counter at Sporstsmans Warehouse as I picked out the range finder!
Now it's my daughters turn with the muzzle loader and rifle in the same unit!
