Is it all hype, or is it a true hunting rifle?
Changing calibers for under $300 has me seriously considering one.

I'd rather get punched in the face than hunt with one...
....expound please.
I'll probably pick one up for hunting here in IN as I need a new muzzleloader anywho. Now that we can use a rifle in certain chamberings, I'm thinking it'll work just fine. Probably get the boys each a Contender as well. With a 357mag or max barrel, a 22lr, and a 20ga they'd be set for anything in IN, but would probably get them a semi auto shotgun if we decide to start actually hunting birds.Where'd bambi go?

How's this for a kick in the teeth? Thinking a VX3 3.,5x10x40 Silver....CDS or no?
270 Winchester 28" barrel....40 rounds old.. I think they are the most interesting ugly rifles made. Gonna work up some 130 gr TTSX.
Is that a 50mm objective?
