Here's a couple pics from the swan hunt a couple months ago....This was my first time hunting swans. We we were hunting in the Stillwater management area near Fallon, NV.

The first trip Don knocked down this whopper. It was the biggest swan fish and game had measured this last season. Don is 6'2". He told me to buy some Hevi-shot. I poopoo'd his idea of spending $20 for 10 shells.....

I got plenty of shots on the first trip and rocked birds, but didn't drop one out of the sky. The shots were all 40-60 yards, pass shooting as they travelled to the refuge area.

The second trip I invested in som Hevi-shot and this one came down. He's an average sized swan.

It was lots of fun. I hope to draw a tag next year as well.

T Bone, cool pictures. I have some family that lives in Fallon who are big cattle farmers. The only bad thing about Fallon is the freaking water...way too much sulfer for me to like. P U !!
