sx ventana 15-45 vs gold ring 12-40 vs gold ring 20-60

Currently own a sx1 ventana and have been hunting out west for 7 years. Spot n stalk mule deer and elk. Wondering who out there has tried the gold rings. I'm trying to gauge how much of an upgrade it would be. Tough for me to try them out up in minnesota so I am looking to you guys to tell me from experience? Bigger power and bigger weight? Or is 12-40 all I would ever need? I see Big Fin usually runs with the 12-40.

Big difference, the Ventana is an entry level scope and there will be a noticeable difference between the two. PM me for a price on the gold ring.
