Looking at the swift 180 a frame for a load in my 300 rum. I have not shot these but have heard good things about them. I know there is a wealth of combined experience on this site and would love to get some opinions. I forgot to mention this will be used on black bear in AK. Thanks Mark :)

I'm sure they'll work fine...nothing but a partition knock-off.

Never could figure why a person wouldnt run 200's out of an RUM though...or most any other 30 magnum.

I really like the A-Frame. My .338 win mag Ruger loves them. It won't shoot a partition worth a darn, but will drive nails with that a-frame. Killed my moose, cairbou, 2 oryx and a barbary sheep with them. Perfomed well each time.

never used them myself either, but one of my buddies likes them alot and has had great success with them------chris

Have you experienced performance issues with your present load?
Tho I've been temped many times.............I refuse to change the pet loads I've developed over time.
I load Nosler partitions in .257 Rbts, .270, 300 H&H, and .358 Norma. The only exception is in my 22-250.
I reckon I'm one to not screw with something that isn't broken.
