Summer Kitchens

I've been toying with the idea of creating a "Summer Kitchen" (Read about what it is in this article ) where I could have a woodburning stove for cooking during power outages and for the heck of it and perhaps as a party food prep area. Has anyone done something similar to this and have any thoughts or guidelines to follow?

I keep telling my wife that this is ok my list. I want to have a dedicated covered place for my smoker, flat top and grill. I also want to build a dedicated spot into it for my Dutch ovens as well as a brick pizza oven.
